Once you move past a talking bear and, in my opinion, a lot of unnecessary mentions of Jesus (why is mocking God, taking God's name in vain, okay? This is worth a whole new post... its not okay for us to say ______ or be against gay marriage, or universal healthcare, but we can use Jesus as comedy? maybe I'm too sensative, but in the words of my sweet MeMaw.... God will not be mocked!).... Putting that aside, the movie was kind of funny. Inappropriate to the 10th degree, but not forced... as though they were filming what a real relationship between two Bostonian's would of been (accents were perfect). All the 80's references were spot on... oh Flash Gordon....i expected you to look different! The funnest line in the movie had to come from Markie Mark Wahlberg when he asked Ted what his girlfriends name was... he rattled off 50 some odd white trash names and they were hilarious.... and then he realized he had to add a Lynn to the end!
Mila Kunis wasn't the best pick for this film... she looked a little young for Markie... Tammy Lynn was pricless...
Bottom Line: If you like perverted, brash comedy... you will like Ted.... there were scenes when I about wet my pants laughing... but over all, it crossed the line a few to many times for me..
